The only good thing about this sordid affair is that I have learned about Jordan Peterson. To stand up the way he is takes enormous courage, especially in Canada where his fellow professors, if not piling on, will look the other way. Peterson's understanding of education is as profound as the educational establishment' view is bankrupt. Here is a taste of Peterson in a recent inteview:
Sorry for the redundancy. I followed my feedreader a few inches south and there you had this outstanding interview already. Peterson has a remarkable record of this case and his teachings on youtube. I was struck when he said that a large percentage of his students say the course changed their lives - which as after all, the point of education, but a rarity nonetheless.
