"Incitatus (Latin meaning "swift" or "at full gallop") was the favorite horse of Roman Emperor Caligula (r. 37–41 AD). According to legend, Caligula planned to make the horse a consul, although ancient sources are clear that this did not occur. According to Suetonius, in the *Lives of the Twelve Caesars* (121 AD), the horse would "invite" dignitaries to dine with him in a house outfitted with servants there to entertain such events. Suetonius also wrote that the horse had a stable of marble, with an ivory manger, purple blankets, and a collar of precious stones. Scholars suggest that the treatment of Incitatus by Caligula was an elaborate prank intended to ridicule and provoke the Senate, rather than a sign of insanity, or was perhaps a form of satire with the implication that a horse could perform a senator's duties."

If Kamala is the horse, who is riding her? Or, to avoid sexual innuendo, who is holding the reins?

Even a horse that reigns has to have reins.

VDH likened Joey B to a Trojan horse.

I expect you'll agree with this article, James.

Here's hoping you and yours are still a good distance from the action.

Hi Bill,

Since it is known that you like Bob Dylan, should we take what we gather from coincidence?

You reference moria, a frontal lobe defect, as a possible problem for a current presidential candidate.

Khazad-dûm was renamed Moria – The Black Pit -after the dwarves excavated too deeply and they unearthed a nameless terror in the depths.

Is this perhaps what we should be expecting should Trump lose this November?

Mike

Here's a song that mentions both Moria and Khazad-dum (at the end). Enjoy. What times these are !
